Just when I need a little something new, with a pop of color for these dreary late winter days – a new FO! I finished Shaelyn in just two weeks. What a perfect little knit – a fun, simple pattern and heavenly yarn combined for the just-what-I-needed-right-in-this-moment kind of project, between the trip to Seattle and the crazy week after. The pattern is from Leila Raabe, the yarn is Foxfire Fiber and Design’s Cormo Camel Silk. I picked up the yarn at New England Fiber Fest in November. This shawl had the dual purpose of travel knitting and hurry up and use some of the Foxfire stash before the first CSA shipment from Barb comes in March. Success! I’m 2 skeins down, for a couple of weeks at least
A few more pics – details of course are on my Ravelry project page.
